Health In Five has been conceptualised keeping in consideration the above 5 principles set out in the preamble to the Constitution of World Health Organisation (WHO). We believe that ‘Good Health’ can actually be achieved if there is a continuous flow of right and relevant health information, news, opinions, experiences along with joint efforts of all stakeholders of healthcare space to address the critical issues affecting the larger population.

Bringing to you health news and information, what it actually means for people at large, Health In Five aims to simplify health information for common people, increase access to healthcare services and to create a platform where actual health action points are discussed, debated, deliberated and delivered. We aim to not replicate what the existing medias’ are doing in terms of reporting in this particular field, rather to carve a niche for ourselves and stand out in the digital space as the trusted Health media partner for ALL.

The team members have been trained to fact-check all information before it is uploaded on the website. Special consideration is given to news, features and interviews where the data points, news pegs, information are double checked by the desk team along with keen observation to detect bias or inaccuracy before it is published and circulated. We strictly adhere to the guidelines of the Press Council of India in publishing and disseminating news and information to the public at large.

Ethics Policy

We follow it in letter and spirit. Our Ethics Policy is derived from the words of Mahatma Gandhi, an eminent journalist is his own right, “The sole aim of journalism should be service. The newspaper press is a great power; but just as unchained torrent of water submerges the whole countryside and devastates crops, even so an uncontrolled pen serves but to destroy. If the control is from without, it proves more poisonous than want of control. It can be profitable only when exercised from within”.

Though, there is a very slight chance of such an eventuality but we are bound to not only acknowledge serious factual errors or any misinformation but rectify them appropriately along with investigating how the news item or information was wrongly published.
