The Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association representing the medical device industry has appointed Meenakshi Nevatia, Vice President & Managing Director of Stryker India, as its new chairperson for its India Executive Committee.
Meenakshi has been intricately involved in the healthcare, medical technology, and pharmaceutical industries throughout her career, which spans over 25 years in a variety of key global leadership roles. In her current role as Vice President & Managing Director of Stryker India based in Gurgaon, Meenakshi is responsible for building Stryker’s business strategy and setting up the organisation for long-term, sustainable growth in the Indian market.
Commenting on her new appointment, Nevatia said, “The Medical Technology industry in India is at an inflexion point and is poised for tremendous growth over the next 3-5 years. APACMed can make a huge difference in shaping this industry as we forge ahead. I feel privileged and excited to take on the role of Chairperson for APACMed’s India Executive Committee.”
