According to a 2025 study by the World Health Organization’s South-East Asia Regional Office (WHO-SEARO), nearly 47% of India’s healthcare workforce lacks foundational digital skills required to effectively use emerging technologies such as AI-powered diagnostics and electronic health records. Digital learning platforms are helping healthcare institutions address these challenges by offering continuous professional training. Online courses, simulation-based learning, virtual laboratories, and AI-assisted training modules enable doctors, nurses, technicians, and hospital administrators to upgrade their skills without interrupting patient care. These programmes allow healthcare workers to stay updated with evolving technologies while improving operational efficiency and clinical decision-making.
Artificial intelligence is playing an increasingly important role in transforming healthcare delivery.
